AMHSA continues its partnership with the Canadian Standards Association to provide members with no-cost access to a collection of standards and additional discounts on training and resources.
View our new user guide to learn more, then email us at [email protected] or call 587-952-2268 to register in the program. After registering, you will receive a welcome email with information on accessing the standards, setting up your account, and adding users. Each code is valid for one year following activation.
Existing account holders: If you have received an email from CSA notifying you of your account expiry, please contact us to renew your no-cost access.
Note: Within Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety Code there are several references to CSA Standards. The Government of Alberta has provided free access to each standard referenced in the Code; however, this does not include the ability to favourite documents or access previous/future editions of each standard in both English and French. AMHSA’s CSA Standards Collection provides a more accessible and searchable user experience, with access to additional content.
CSA OnDemand Program | CSA Partnership Program |
AMHSA has partnered with CSA in order to provide member organizations with complimentary, read-only access to a custom collection of standards, available on the CSA Store. Each account will have read-only access to the standards collection for 1-10 users within their organization. Contact us for details on expanded access or additional accounts. Please note that access is restricted to AMHSA municipal members only (cities, towns, municipal districts, villages). Click here to download the new user guide. |
AMHSA now offers discounts for CSA training, resources, and supplementary materials. Visit the CSA Store to view available products and training. These discount codes have unlimited uses and can be utilized by any member or non-member.

University of New Brunswick - Health & Safety Program Tuition Giveaway
Each year, AMHSA partners with the University of New Brunswick (UNB) to provide one member of the AMHSA community free tuition to enroll in their choice of the UNB online Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety program or the online Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
With this initiative we would like to honour the memory of the late Terri Filipski, who was instrumental in the launch of the very first AMHSA/UNB tuition giveaway in 2020. Her passion for safety and education serves as an example to us all.
Eligibility: All Alberta municipal members who currently work or are interested in the Occupational Health and Safety field can enter into the contest. To be eligible for the AMHSA/UNB Occupational Health and Safety Program Tuition Giveaway, the individual must work for a municipal organization that is a member in good standing of AMHSA.
2023 contest has now closed - watch for an announcement coming soon
