Disability Management
In partnership with the Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences, AMHSA is offering several learning events related to disability management and successful return to work.
These courses emphasize the skills and knowledge required to return to work individuals who have incurred injuries or illnesses and provide an introduction to the competencies that are required to introduce and administer disability management programs.
Each learning event is presented online, 9:00 am-3:30 pm (MT) at a cost of $250/course.

Note: Students will have the option of attending the learning event or attending the learning event and completing an assignment. There is no change to pricing. For students that choose to only attend the learning event, a certificate will be issued reflecting 6 hours of participation. For students that attend the learning event and complete the assignment, a certificate will be issued reflecting 12 hours of participation.
Professional Development
These learning events apply towards the Disability Management Practitioner certificate program offered by PCU.
The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Alberta (CPHR Alberta) have identified that these courses have been Pre-Approved for CPD Hours through CPHR Alberta.
Each course has been endorsed by the Canadian Society of Professionals in Disability Management (CSPDM) for continuing education credit (CEC) hours for the professional designations of:
- Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) and
- Certified Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC)
